Oh man. I woke up just feeling like this week is going to be forever long. I had such a fun weekend, I didn’t really want to come back to Price.
Friday night I watched No Country For Old Men with my friend Zach. If you haven’t seen that movie, just do it, because I don’t want to talk to you until you have. Seriously. After that we went to dinner with our friends Brad and Marlyse and watched Wayne’s World at Brad’s house. I love that movie so much. It’s just so good.
Saturday I did laundry (WOOOOOOOOOOO) and went to my brother’s battle of the bands (we was robbed). He played pretty well, and the audience loved his band. I thought they were good, and probably deserved like, second place. But instead this awful band won it; one of those bands you just don’t like from looking at them. You get the point. Anyway, after BotB, I went to see Fantastic Mr. Fox with Zach, and it was really really good. It had a real Wes Anderson look about it, and it was really funny. It was just wonderful. It was interesting to see Mr.Anderson do clay-mation. Zach told me on the way home that Wes Anderson is a really hard director to work with, because he has to have everything done perfectly his way. It’s good, I think, but probably not super fun for the actors and stuff. Except that they’re WORKING WITH WES ANDERSON.
Sunday we helped my Grandma move to her new house, and then I mostly just watched movies on my laptop and waited for the Superbowl to be over so I could come back to school. We got back pretty late. But I managed to watch Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist before I went to bed. “I love you so much it’s retarded.” HA! I guess I wouldn’t mind having Seth Meyers making out in my back seat as long as he was cracking one liners like that.
Next weekend I’m going to a concert! Um. . .yes? Heh. I feel like such an old person these days, because I don’t go to concerts unless it’s someone I really want to see. I used to just go for the hell of it, but now I’m like, “Do I want to use the gas? I really can’t afford six bucks to get it. Ugh, why are there so many people here? I’ll just stand in the back.” Twelfth grade self would kick me in the rump right now! I’m just more interested in not spending money and reading. I love reading. Or, alternatively, I love to learn, I love to learn, I love to learn, I LOVE TO LEARN. Hip Hop Harry. You don’t even, oh man, you don’t even get it, do you?
Next weekend is a long weekend, and I’m so stoked. Just like, out my brain.
